Policies

  1. Tent/RV Limits – There is only one camping unit allowed per site.  This includes tents (one per site).  If you have an RV and you want to pitch a tent for the kids (as an example), you must get permission from the office.
  2. Parking – limited to one vehicle per site.  If you have more than one vehicle, please inform the office and park one of them at the designated parking area.
  3. Maximum No. of Guests – Site fees are for registered campers only.  This includes 2 adults and their dependent children under the age of 21 who live in the same household. Each additional overnight guest is $5.00 per night if registered at the time the reservation is made.
  4. Campfires – Please build fires in the fire rings provided at each site and never leave the fire unattended.  Please do not move the fire rings to a different area.
  5. Garbage – Please keep your campsite clean of debris, garbage, and litter of any kind. Garbage is picked up from your site daily. Please do not leave any garbage out after 6:00 PM.
  6. Alcohol – Alcohol beverages must remain at your campsite.
  7. Children/Minors – Minors must be at their site by 11:00 PM.  Conduct, behavior, and control of children are the parents’ responsibility.
  8. Quiet Time – All noisy activity (music, revelry, loud voices, etc.) must cease by 11:00 PM.  You are welcome to continue to enjoy your campfire conversation after 11:00 PM but it cannot bother other campers.
  9. Firewood – Firewood is available for purchase and delivery directly to your campsite.

Campers have the privilege of sharing the campground with their guests under the following terms and conditions.

  1. Visiting Day guests must register at the office to get a car pass and pay our daily visitor fee of $5.00 per person.
  2. All overnight guests will be charged $10.00 per person, per night.
  3. No visitors will be admitted after 8:00 PM. 
  4. Any camper or guest that willfully or through negligence defaces or destroys property or equipment of the campground, or that of another camper or guest, will be held responsible for full value thereof.
  1. The speed limit is 5 MPH.
  2. Water Usage – There is no use of water to wash any equipment, vehicle, RV, filling pools of any size, or to run sprinklers without prior consent from the owners. A fee will be assessed if you are found to be breaking this rule. Back flow preventers, which are on our spigots at each site, are required are required by the NYS department of Health, please do not remove them. 
  3. Campground restrooms and showers are reserved for registered campers only.
  4. The dump station is for Campers Haven campers only.
  5. Normal bagged kitchen garbage only (No TV sets, lawn chairs, clothing, etc.) will be picked up from your site daily. Please do not leave garbage out after 6:00 PM. We do not want to attract animals.
  6. Trailers are not permitted to be parked on campsites. Please ask the office where our trailer parking area is.
  1. Proof of vaccines must be provided at check in. Please bring a paper copy to leave at the office.
  2. All pets must be kept on a leash.
  3. Pets cannot be left unattended at your campsite
  4. Loud consistent barking will not be tolerated. You will be asked to remove any noisy pets.
  5. Please clean up after your pets.
  6. Pets are prohibited from entering any of the campground buildings or the pool area.
  7. Pets are permitted in the Cabins and Bungalows with payment of pet fee. Additional charges may apply for damages.
  8. Any incident or financial liability involving a pet is always the responsibility of the pet owner.  Campers Haven reserves the right to exclude any pets at their discretion.

The swimming pool is not supervised by a lifeguard, swim at your own risk.  In place of on-site supervision, we have established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests.

  1.     Never swim alone.  A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older must be present whenever the pool is in use.  At least one adult must always remain on deck. 
  2.     Don’t drink alcohol and swim.
  3.     Actions Not Allowed – No diving, no running, no jumping, no horseplay.
  4.     Items Not Allowed – No food, beverages, pets or smoking inside the pool area.
  5.     Use of the pool is only permitted during the posted hours of operation (11:00 am – 8:00 pm or dark, whichever is sooner). 
    • ADULT SWIM is from 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm daily.
  6.     Clothing Guidelines – Swimwear only.  No cut off shorts, dark t-shirts, or diapers.  (Swim diapers are available at the store.)
  7.     Campers Haven reserves the right to limit the use of pool accessories such as fun noodles, balls, floats, and diving sticks.
  8.     The maximum capacity is 40 people.

There is a Free emergency phone located on the corner of the office building.

Pond: No swimming in the ponds.  Fishing is permitted during the fishing season and is subject to the rules and regulations of the DEC.  Fishing license required.  Carp are catch and release.  The pond is closed during bad weather.

 Kayaks/Pedal Boats: Daily between 11AM-8PM (or dark – whichever is earlier).  Bring your own Kayak or rent a pedal boat.  There are no substitutes for a kayak such as a canoe or rowboat allowed on the water.  Launch and return kayaks at kayak launch only.  One person per kayak.  Pedal boats can be launched at the dock.  3 people per boat max.  Life jackets are required for everyone on the water and are available for free with the rental. Kayaks and Pedal boats are only permitted on the large pond.  No standing, tipping, or horseplay allowed on the boat.  All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the water.  No food or drinks are permitted on the boat.  Do not exit the boat for any reason other than to load and unload yourself at the dock. 

Pedal Cars: Pedal cars are available for rent between 11AM-8PM (or dark, whichever is earlier).  Please pay and sign them out, and back in, at the office.  Helmets are required. We have some to borrow if you do not have your own.

 Bounce Pillow: The bounce pillow is typically open from 11:00am – 8:00pm. We reserve the right to close the pillow due to weather or other safety concerns as deemed necessary. There are no shoes, food, drinks, or pets allowed in the bounce pillow area. There is a capacity limit of 15 people at one time. No Flips, slides, cartwheels, or other horseplay is permitted. Please do not dig in the sand as it could damage the structure of the bounce pillow. Use of the bounce pillow is done at your own risk and under the supervision of a responsible adult, and Campers Haven is not liable for any injuries. 

 Arcade: Open daily at 9am and closes during quiet hours. 

 Playground: Open at 9am – dark.

 Zip Line: Open from 11am – dark. One person at a time and adult supervision is required. Please keep the zipline path clear and do not stand on the ropes. Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The weight limit is 150lbs. Campers Haven is not responsible for any injuries due to misuse and/or lack of supervision.

Putt Putt Golf: Available during store hours.

We are a Golf cart friendly campground. That being said we have some rules in place to keep everyone safe.

  1. Proof of insurance and a driver’s license must be provided and a copy left in our office.
  2. Golf carts are permitted during the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm. Handicap exception required to drive after 9:00pm.
  3. Drivers must have a valid NYS driver’s license or be at least 12 years of age AND have a licensed driver in the front seat. Golf carts must obey the speed limit and remain on the roadways.
  4. Drivers must have a driver’s license to operate a Golf cart in the trails.
  5. All passengers must be in a seat, not sitting on bumpers, standing, or hanging off the cart.
